despite being a fan of the series for almost a decade, i only started collecting things to show my love this year! so my collections pretty small

i have the mini figure set from the board game!! i got this as a little treat for myself after getting my first job!

here's my color edition collection! these were a gift from a friend

and of course! my original box set!!

aside from some prints thats all! i really do plan on getting more stuff when i'm able to! i really REALLY wanna get the bass scott has but thats a little bit extra so i think my next purchase will just be a sex bobomb t-shirt! i also plan on getting all the hardcovers and evil ex editions of the books. I WANT vinyls of the movie and game soundtracks but i cant justify that purchase till i get myself a record player.

scott pilgrim loves ramona flowers, but in order to get with her he has to fight and defeat her seven evil exes, and aslo like... grow as a person or some shit?

my history with scott pilgrim spans back further than i can fully remember so my first memory is a little hazy but i DO remember watching it with my older brother one day when it came on MTV waaaayyyy back before tv was dead

at the time it wasnt really anything i was interested in, the only thing i remembered was the scene where todd threw scott through a wall, i spent the next few years of my life thinking that it was kickass

that was until my friend let me borrow her copy of volume two of the comic book in fifth grade, i was INSTANTLY hooked! the characters! the art style! rhe humor! i needed more immediately so i dragged my brother to the library with me, got a brand new library card and got out the first three volumes of the books, it was then that i connected volume three back to the scene i'd watched years prior in the movie.

i remember when i connected the dots! i was so happy i wouldnt stop bothering my brother about it

i still remember distinctly where i finished reading the series for the first time: it was 11 and i was staying at my uncles for the night and he chastised me for staying up so late but let me when i told him i was reading

scott pilgrim has been with me for longer than i could reasonably remember. its got this sort of nostaglia about it, plus it's one of the main things that me and my older brother bond over (we dont got a lot in common since theres like a 20 year age gap) the older i get the more i learn to love and appreciate it
